Opus - Nadia/Silas 2014
Oh my goodness, love this name! Little Opus was another one of our quiet puppies at the vet's office for his visit. So much so, the veterinarian had some concerns. But this is typical of a lot of our puppies here at Snitker Goldens, they know how to play and have fun AND they know how to settle and be still. I always tell our families that you can easily gear a puppy "up," but it is not always easy to bring them back "down." So - we work with our youngsters, teaching them when it is appropriate to be still (when we ask) and when it is time to play ("okay!"). Puppies are so much like children. If you handle them lovingly and gently while they're little (especially during that ever-so-important puppy-imprint period), they will have that behavioral foundation their entire lives.
So Little Opus. . . we're GLAD you were a quiet trooper at the vet's office while the exam was taking place. You had two other puppy-mates this spring who slept through their entire visit!! Hooray for good little puppies! :)
Just thought I'd share this cute picture with you. We went to Des Moines over the weekend and Opus met a cousin. They played so well together and had so much fun. He was a great traveler and is doing so well!!
He is such a great little guy. We are just loving him.
