Morgan - Maggie/Silas 2014

Update from Morgan's family!

Morgan often leaves his treats on the agility course (they have us put out a small treat for them at the end of a course or piece of equipment as a reward.....) and other dogs snatch them up. Except that one night that we brought freeze-dried veggies for his treat (MOrgan loves those freeze-dried green beans.) The other dogs would try to eat them, but ended up spitting them out! It was so funny, the whole class laughed and laughed! Anyway, last night one of the teachers brought over a treat that Morgan had left on the course and said, Morgan you forgot this, but Morgan was not interested at all!  Honestly I think his favorite reward is a tummy rub!  He LOVES tummy rubs!  He used to wake up in the night, roll over,  and cry (literally, cry) for a tummy rub. It was so sad, but he doesn't do that so much anymore, he must have outgrown it....  

He really does have quite a personality, so sweet. He was in heaven this afternoon because some very small kids came to pet him in the park! One was 15 months old. When Morgan sees kids, he LAYS DOWN. Like he is saying, "I am being REALLY REALLY GOOD!" so that they will want to pet him and their parents will let them! He lays there very still while they do. 

I tell him that he has very good manners!  Yet he is also very assertive about his needs and wants. Like the morning I thought it would help him eat more  if I put chicken broth on his food.  He did not like that, and he sat back and barked at me a few times!  (Like, "that is AWFUL, PLEASE don't do that again!")
We are truly  blessed to have Morgan in our lives!
