Best Wishes to John and Kay with their newest family member, my Lydie, who is one of the sweetest gals I know. She is missed "back home". When we lost our Golden two years ago my husband and I decided that we would have no more dogs. I guess our kids really knew we did want another dog so this spring our daughter-in-law came across "snitkergoldens.com" web site and told us about a 17 month old European Golden they had up for adoption. After looking at her picture on the web site and visiting with Rhonda we drove the 4 hours from our home to meet Lydie and fell in love. She has the sweetest temperament and the most beautiful brown eyes of any dog I've ever seen. Rhonda has done a wonderful job raising Lydie to be the dog she is today, gentle, well behaved and a perfect companion. Rhonda was very open and honest, answering all our questions about Lydie. I think she has a real passion for her dogs and it's evident when she talks about them. They're her "babies" and she cares deeply about all of them. We introduced Lydie to two of our grandchildren on the day we brought her home. The boys are 7 and 4 years old. When they came over to meet her she laid down and stayed there until they were done petting and playing with her. This behavior comes from imprinting done by Rhonda over the past year.. Rhonda had her spayed and all vaccinations were up to date.. All her paperwork was complete and organized so all we had to do the day we picked her up was buy a bag of food and some chew toys for her. My husband and I would highly recommend Snitker Goldens and Rhonda to anyone interested in adopting a Golden for a pet and companion. John & Kay
