Luna - Jen Gasper

BEST DECISION EVER!  That is how we feel about our recent purchase of a pup from Rhonda!  Last year around this time, we welcomed our first Snitkers Golden into our home.  A wonderful male pup that we named Scout.  It wasn't even days after we brought him home that we realized what a special pup he was and just what a special place he came from.  Not only was he such a unique and beautiful dog, he was also very calm, gentle and well mannered.  Soon, my husband and I began talking about a second pup down the road and KNEW that there was no other place that we would want to purchase from than Snitkers.  We thought that it would be so fun to bring a sister home for Scout - one who came from the same mom and dad.  Fast forward to a year later.  I was sending an updated email and picture to Rhonda as I often did to show her how much her "Mr. Black" had grown.  During email exchanges, we came to find out that she was expecting a litter of pups from Scout's dad.  After careful deliberation and a lot of "signs" later, we put our deposit down for a girl.  Once that was done, we couldn't wait to bring her home.  We knew how connected Rhonda was to each of her her pups and anxiously awaited the next time she updated her site with pictures and commentary of our little girl as she grew.  The videos were just the best and made us feel like we were a part of her first 8 weeks!  When we were finally able to meet our Luna, our hearts melted.  She looked me straight in the eyes and licked my face and I KNEW she was meant to be ours.  Ever since then, we have been smitten with our little girl.  Even her big brother Scout is in love with her.  The two of them wrestle and play the day away and are just the best of friends.  He won't leave her side - even when she is in her kennel, he is always laying right beside her.  They are a perfect pair and I cannot wait to see the years of their friendship build.

     Our precious Luna is so beautiful, easy going and well-mannered.  She is also quite fearless and inquisitive.  You can see her personality in her eyes and the way she walks.  And we know she was "raised" right because she can go from teething and play biting Scout to very gentle licks with us without thought.  She is so smart too.  She slept through the night from Day 1 and knows just what to do when out in the grass.  While we aren't without accident in the house, most of them have been on the laminate floor by the backdoor where we let her out.  She is just know getting the hang of ringing her bells so we are just making great strides with the potty business. She loves her kennel which we call her "room."  She is so comforted there and never whines or cries.  She is just a blessing and a gift and the perfect way to round out our family.  We couldn't be happier with our repeat purchase from Rhonda!

     There is no better investment that you can make when searching for a fur member to add to your family than with someone you trust.  In just one email exchange or phone call with Rhonda, you will know exactly why we chose Snitkers Goldens for our second pup.  She is such a loving soul who pours all of herself into her pups.  I have come to think of her as our family friend and love to keep in touch via pictures and emails.  I am so grateful to her for the investment that she put into the early lives of our pups - she is MORE than worth our investment as owners.
