Henry - Ina/Silas 2015

I had to go into [work] at 1 AM this morning.  I did not have my shoes on and did not want wet socks, so I got Henry out of kennel.  It was raining, but I just opened back door, he went across porch, down steps, did his thing and came right back. ( of course fenced in yard)  No big thing for him but a big thing for me.  He was sound asleep when I got home a few hours later.  He has no concerns with thunder.  Our last dog Jack just wanted to be held (hard at 75 lbs)

He really responds to my whistle- comes running even dropping a stick he might be chewing on!  I reinforced the whistle with a piece of cheese and it sunk in.

Today is his first day at daycare-cant wait to see him.  He is in a group of about 5 other puppies  Looks like fun.

The care and early development you gave him has made such a difference.  Nobody can believe what a well behaved puppy.  He can still play hard with me and grandsons.  Bennett is just 5 and he has bonded deeply with Henry-they obviously enjoy each other’s company.  He is starting to catch on to retrieving and walking on leash.  I have fun walking down the sidewalk with him - I think he is smart (what parent doesn’t?)
