Unpublished videos and photographs due to the priority of working with puppies. . . . I have a final puppy update for these sweet little ones that went home the past days. . . . Here are sights and sounds from our Bonnie Sue/Jack and Charlie/Silas litters. . . can't resist the music on this first video. . . . . hoping that our puppies are little "lights" and "send the light!" and bring joy to their new families and all whom they meet!
And the Jeep ride. . . and the pool day. . . .
What sweeties! Here's a peek at the Charlie puppies in the training room. . . some of the grandchildren came in to "help" make the noise. . . .
And I have to include these images (below) . . . . Earlier that evening [of the videos in the training room], I heard a knock at my dogbarn door, and found SEVEN kids PICKETING! They were walking and jumping in a circle with bobbing signs, demanding food for payment of services (work in the puppybarn). I think they had help with the signs and the whole idea. . . . hmmmm. I later offered them four burnt cookies. . . all I had leftover from making a small tray of the pre-made, slice-n-bake cookies (I confess, puppy season is hard on a gramma's baking from scratch). . . . none-the-less, the kids went after the four burnt cookies. . . . . I guess it's all considered FOOD, and I haven't seen the picketers since!
And finally, Bonnie Sue's Mr. Black [Albie] went home with Veterans Moving Forward, Inc., after an afternoon of aptitude testing, and we are thrilled. Another potential service boy heading into training for two years. . . and hopefully, we pray he will end up serving one of our veterans with physical and/or emotional needs after having served our country.
When puppy season comes to a close, I find myself wondering how we made it through all of our tasks . . . . the day-in and day-out of working to meet the benchmarks, watching for puppy development, and praying over their progress. At the end of the day, it's all about putting forth all we have with all God has given us, and it's our prayer that these little canine lives will impact and change human lives for the better.
Thank you to all of our families who entrusted us with this monumental task. We've done our best to ready your puppies for you and look forward to watching them grow! ~ rhonda
Why Snitker Goldens
We begin with quality tested and approved breeding Goldens and build on that solid foundation with our puppies. Championship pedigrees in their lines are our way of remaining true to breed standard. We strive to personally imprint each pup with positive, rewarding experiences – to nurture each one with love and care, realizing that each day we have your puppy is one day closer to the day you will hold him or her. We use this time to make that permanent impression on your pup, one which he or she will carry for a lifetime.
