A blessed mess. That's what it was this morning. Elise's litter has been a little shy on the new surfaces, though we've been working a lot. Finally, today, I made a sort of "passageway" between the area that smelled like "Mamma" and was more familiar, and the new place "outside" the doorway. And after working an hour and a half, the pups were all over the place and the big crying had long since stopped. :)
Typically, you won't see such messy pics on the site :o! but this is really part of the messy stage when puppies learn to play on other surfaces and use a potty pan. And BTW - FOUR puppies used the potty pan this morning, ON THEIR OWN! This is huge, since this is the first morning we really introduced this idea. GOOD LITTLE PUPPIES! :) We will eventually move the potty pan near the door to the outside run, and then eventually, we no longer need it. Yes. . .it is a process. . .
So below, there's just a small snippet of video for you to see. We're on our way!! (oh, ps. the corrugated steel is just another strange surface feel underfoot - they all took it in stride!)
Why Snitker Goldens
We begin with quality tested and approved breeding Goldens and build on that solid foundation with our puppies. Championship pedigrees in their lines are our way of remaining true to breed standard. We strive to personally imprint each pup with positive, rewarding experiences – to nurture each one with love and care, realizing that each day we have your puppy is one day closer to the day you will hold him or her. We use this time to make that permanent impression on your pup, one which he or she will carry for a lifetime.
