I was so taken with this boy and his expression - the epitome of a classic Golden Retriever. I felt this boy's warm, wet tongue, and heard the "flop" of those big ol' paws come on over the step. I was warmed by his smile and felt I could touch his beautiful coat with each stroke. This piece was a delight to paint, and I smiled as he came alive on the canvas. Quite a joy, even as my own boy, Goose, was on the floor of the studio while I painted. Yes, all. too. real.
This work can stand alone, as the canvas sides are painted a deep gray. Framing available (at additional cost) through The Perfect Edge, Decorah, IA.
