In 2010, we had the opportunity to adopt from a litter sired by the two-time World Winner Dewmist Silk Screen. And what a good decision that would prove to be. At 90 pounds, Silas is every bit we hoped for in his solid genetics, conformation, health, and temperament. These stunning attributes have become the foundation of our breeding program at Snitker Goldens. With full health clearances on hips (Excellent-OFA), elbows, heart, and eyes.Silas is also ICT clear, prcd-PRA clear, PRA1 clear, and PRA2 carrier.
His beautiful blocky head and uniform body are only rivaled by his gentle temperament and devotion. His offspring are lovely with solid temperaments; many serving in comfort, therapy, and service work as well as devoted companions. He is our tried and true boy. Imported from Romania as a 12-week old, Silas has been my devoted and favored friend all these years. He is the strong pillar that much of our program is built upon. As a first-generation son of a two-time World Winner, his genetics are top of the line with health, conformation, and longevity. And I couldn't ask for a better friend.
