Happy Mother's Day to you both!
We happened to walk the Peanuts down to the Farmer's Market in Dubuque while visiting my mom this weekend. They took the "Market Manners" test and earned their "Market Manners" bandanas!
Thought you enjoy this picture!
Have a great day!
The Peanuts (whom Aspen and Spirit are lovingly named) are two Millie/Kaine pups - siblings. Raised by two of the most loving canine keepers I know, the Peanuts have ample opportunity to experience life in the great outdoors. Here are some recent images their parents sent to me. Enjoy! Thanks Lori and Greg for sharing these special moments with us all! :)
We are finally back at school. We lost both Thursday and Friday. Just read your newsletter and you are going to very busy!!
To update you about Mason---he is the sweetest dog ever. He and Simon are best buddies and wrestle in the snow, in the house, on my bed. They go for 4 mile walks everyday with my husband who works from home and they let him know when it is 4:00 cause that is walk time.
Mason loves to watch TV especially Nature on IPTV on Wednesday evenings. He has the craziest vocalizations and "talks" to us. When we laugh at him or "answer" him he answers us. Wish I knew what we were talking about.
I don't think he knows how to snarl or growl--when the boys are wrestling--Simon will snarl and growl at him and Mason just smiles. Everyone in town knows them from their walks and he is so friendly, he has a fan club.
He weighs about 90 lbs now and has been very healthy. He still thinks he is a puppy and sits in my lap. He is a goof ball with great flexibility and can bend almost over backwards--until he tips over!
Good Luck with all the new babbies!! ~ Diane
I thought I would write to you and give you an update on Zoey (Miss Light Blue). It is hard to believe she has been with us for one year now. She has grown into a beautiful dog inside and out. She is now just over 60 pounds, and her white fur has really grown in. It is hard for us to take her on walks because everyone wants to stop us to say what a beautiful dog she is.
Zoey loves that the weather has turned nice enough for her to go swimming regularly at our neighborhood pond. She has become much more brave when it comes to swimming than she was last fall when she was smaller. We love to watch her have so much fun. Zoey still gets to play with her best friend Gracie a couple of times a week. They can get into some trouble together, but for the most part they love to play keep away with sticks and toys.
One of the things we love best about Zoey is her calm disposition. She loves to snuggle right up next to you and just let you pet her for what seems like hours. As soon as you stop petting her she puts her paw on you like she is saying not to stop. We still need a little more practice with coming when called while outside. She just loves the outdoors too much! We will hopefully get this one perfected this summer.
We just wanted to thank you again for giving us such a wonderful pet and companion. We couldn't imagine our lives without her!

Chloe, Tia and I just wanted to send you some pictures of our Chance (Mr. Dark Blue). He is such a GREAT dog! As you know he just celebrated his 1st year and is very mature for his age :) He is so vocal and talks with us and I dont mean barking. He just kind of grumble talks to us and makes us laugh daily. We were visiting your website and saw the open reservations and wondering should we?
Take care, hope all is well.
Just wanted to show you "Mr. Black" on his first birthday. Henry is quite a delight to our family. At 76 pounds, he still thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to play in the yard and go for walks. He has the nasty habit of trimming my shrubs so we will be working on yard manners :).
He continues to be a picky eater and gets distracted by birds when you call him in. He has traveled to Detroit and Dallas in the past 4 months and many trips to the school and soccer fields. I cannot imagine our house without him.

We begin with quality tested and approved breeding Goldens and build on that solid foundation with our puppies. Championship pedigrees in their lines are our way of remaining true to breed standard. We strive to personally imprint each pup with positive, rewarding experiences – to nurture each one with love and care, realizing that each day we have your puppy is one day closer to the day you will hold him or her. We use this time to make that permanent impression on your pup, one which he or she will carry for a lifetime.
